The in class photo illustration process was a great time. I wasn’t there during the planning process, so it presented a great learning experience for me when I showed up and the group asked me to shoot the photo. Instead of knowing the group idea and a clear vision of the photo, I took in the comments, directions, and changes that the group had and we came up with what I think is a great photo illustration. We wanted to show the battle between a traditional Holiday focused on time with family and friends and the ever advancing time of stores opening for black friday shopping. More and more people don’t get to enjoy a full thanksgiving with family members, or even a thanksgiving at all, with the stores opening earlier and earlier-even into thanksgiving itself.
