Jessica: Lighting was set up with the main source on the right with a soft box. Another strobe was placed behind the subject and the light was adjusted to create rim light in some cases, and a fill light in others. An additional strobe was set in the front left corner positioned away form the model as a fill light.
Lauren: Set up as shown, Main light being the strobe in the right with a soft box. Back left light was adjusted to minimize shine on background images. The difficulty with these background images is sheen off the posters that the light causes. I found that I liked the images more when the subject didn’t look completely separated from the background (so I avoided the rim light and tried to create soft lighting on the left side of the model that gave light, but no reflection off the backdrop image).
Chelsea: Set up as shown, Main light being the strobe in the right with a soft box. Back left light was adjusted to minimize shine on background images. Similar tactics as above.
